Thirsty Thursday Show

Participation // Introduction to Contextual Practice

In order to tackle the topic of binge drinking and stress culture at Carnegie Mellon University, my collaborators and I (Shannon Case, Xavier Apostol) interviewed intoxicated students in exchange for a free ride to and from bars on a Thursday night. We advertised the show on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat) in order to gain maximum participation, made the advertising material using Adobe Illustrator, used Google Apps to coordinate logistics, and edited the video using Adobe Premiere Pro. We were overwhelmed by both the willingness to participate and the final product.
