RGB Time

I created a clock that analyzes Day, Hour, Minutes, Seconds, and Milliseconds and visualizes it using RGB/CMYK color theory and blend modes. I particularly liked this project just because of its aesthetic value, which closely aligns with my love for primary colors.

Redbone Sound Visualizer

This originally started as an exploration of random curves generated through noise which would transform over time and create a composition but instead I felt compelled to create a sound visualizer. I worked with WEBGL to tackle Redbone, a song by Childish Gambino. I was again inspired by the aesthetics of the album cover and then the code analyzes the amplitude of the song as well as the size of the object changing in accordance to time and rotating on an X,Y,Z axis.

Fade Visualizer

Fade was inspired by The Life of Pablo by Kanye West, an album I had been listening to on repeat. I took the aesthetics of the album cover, along with an aspect of interactivity and created this piece in EMS 2 with Paolo. You will see a foreground and background to this piece- the orange background and the soundwaves are code that I programmed to analyze the amplitude of the song, and the foreground with words are attached to specific keys on the keyboard and can be played with along with the song. This piece is supposed to be performed live with me sort of VJ-ing with the keys, but for the sake of technology and time I made a short video of it.
